Significant experience with API gateways (APIGEE, Azure API Gateway or equivalent) and REST/Microservices

Requirements:

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Design and implement scalable, distributed, secure systems in a cloud environment (Azure)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders in an agile environment
Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices, including API gateway configuration and deployment

Job description

JAVA Developer with Azure - 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: DOE

10+ years of developing and supporting Application Development
Demonstrate unrelentless customer focus
Proven experience in a dynamic, agile environment
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Curiosity to learn and improve
Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, OO design and patterns
Demonstrated ability to foster effective collaboration across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
10+ years of software development experience with Object Oriented Languages Java
3+ years of relevant and recent experience with Springboot frameworks for API Development
3+ years of experience developing on modern cloud platform
Significant experience on API Gateways (APIGEE, Azure API Gateway or equivalent)
SME experience designing solutions in leveraging SQL and No-SQL based solutions
Expert in SOA, REST, Microservice Pattern
Expert in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, performant and secure systems
Significant experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Kaizen)
Execute in a CI/CD and DevOps environment.
