Roles & Responsibilities

Expert-level Python programming/scripting (Python/boto3) for automation
Extensive AWS experience (services, CloudFormation, and DevOps) and cloud-native tooling
Storage expertise: S3, cloud storage integration, data migrations, replication techniques (SnapMirror, SnapVault, DataSync, Data Motion, DoubleTake)
Knowledge of data storage protocols (iSCSI, SMB, NFS, Object, SFTP) and backup strategies across cloud and on-prem

Requirements:

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS using Python/boto3 for automation
Design and implement infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and related AWS services; support DevOps initiatives
Lead storage data migrations and replication efforts and integrate external cloud storage with AWS (S3, etc.)
Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize complex cloud/storage configurations; ensure robust backup strategies for cloud and on-prem environments

Job description

AWS Cloud Consultant - 100% Remote
Duration - 12 months +
Salary - DOE

This role involves high level of python scripts for automation, integration.
Expert level skills needed in the following

Python/ boto3
Cloud Formation
AWS services
AWS Devops
Cloud storage - S3 & other
Integration of other cloud storage to AWS
Experience in Storage data migrations
Experience in Storage data replication techniques such as SnapMirror, Snapvault, Data motion, DoubleTake, Data Sync etc.

Required Skills

Being passionate about developing highly performant, scalable and resilient cloud native solutions.
Exposure in delivering code for active Cloud services/projects.
Esposure with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS and use their APIs and configuration tools including Cloud Formation.
Programing/scripting at an expert level in Python.
Understanding of ISCSI, SMB, NFS, Object and SFTP protocols and data storage in general.
Strongly prefer candidates with either Cloud or Cloud Storage development and administration experience
Understanding backup technologies and approaches to backing up data in cloud and on prem.
Have proven skills analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems configurations.
Have experience in Storage data migrations
Have experience in Storage data replication techniques such as SnapMirror, Snapvault, Data motion, DoubleTake, DataSync etc.
