Support the Deployment Management team by using Mainframe TSO to set up and test JCLs
Develop automation and file movement processes using Linux and Bash scripting
Collaborate with global stakeholders and apply Agile practices to deliver deployments

Job description

Mainframe Deployment Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

5+ years of experience in leading a Mainframe development/support team.
3+ years of experience in developing mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, SAS, MQ etc on z/OS.
Solid leadership skills and background.
Good understanding of Creational, Structural, Behavioral Design Patterns, architecture patterns, Application, and Integration architectures Preferred
Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
Has an ability to work in a global organization with stakeholders.
Passionate about open source and developer tools.
Highly established in managing experienced engineers, along with a demonstrated track record of growing and building high-performing teams.
Ideally hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in a Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM subject.
Support the Deployment Management team using Mainframe TSO to set up and test JCLs.
Work with Linux and Bash scripting on the server side to regularly move files and automate processes.
