Roles & Responsibilities

10+ years of experience in Java and related technologies (GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence) and Spring framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO).
5+ years of experience with Spring Boot; hands-on with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional, and Spring Batch.
WebFlux experience; Agile methodology; and unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with databases and integrations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and financial industry exposure (digital payments or subscriptions).

Requirements:

Design, develop, and lead the implementation of complex full-stack solutions including APIs and microservices in large enterprise environments.
Architect and oversee Java-based applications using Spring, Spring Cloud, and related technologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (digital/mobile, payments, and financial services) to drive architectural decisions, coding standards, and best practices.
Create and maintain automated unit tests; contribute to Agile development processes and ensure code quality and on-time delivery.

Java Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE
US Citizens, GC, EAD ( H4, L2), E3 TN visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job

Required

Minimum 10 years' experience in Java, GIT, JIRA, Maven, Confluence, Spring framework (Core, MVC, AOP, Java NIO).
3+ years of application architecture experience
Webflux experience
Spring framework experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
Agile methodology experience.
Hands-on experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional and Spring Batch desired.
Experience on creating unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.
Experience with Databases and code integrations such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
Expertise in implementing complex full stack solutions including digital and mobile systems, API, and Micro-Services in large Enterprise organizations.
Experience with payment services (digital wallet, online digital payments, or subscription services) in the Financial Industry.
