Lead virtualization architecture activities for new product and technology initiatives, including architecture of applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security, while ensuring alignment with the Architecture Roadmap with business objectives.

Job description

Title: Virtualization Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months +

Job Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure.
Provide subject matter expertise in troubleshooting all issues related to the VMware server infrastructure.
Plan and manage workloads, projects, and other administrative tasks associated with the VMware Server team.
Manage the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized server infrastructure
Lead virtualization architecture activities for new product and technology initiatives, including architecture of applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security, while ensuring alignment with the Architecture Roadmap with business objectives.

Skills and Experience Required:
Required

8-10 years' experience minimum.
Min one year of experience in developing PowerShell scripts.
Knowledge of HCI - Hyper Converged Infrastructure
Knowledge of clustering
Knowledge of VXRail, VSAN etc.
Experience with VDI ex: Horizon View
Strong Virtualization knowledge
Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or higher
Demonstrated experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and associated tools.
Good Knowledge on Agile/Scrum methodologies
