Roles & Responsibilities

Eclipse database administration experience and ability to manage the Eclipse environment
Patch management and system updates to keep the Eclipse environment current
Ability to provide L3 support and respond to major incidents on a 24x7 basis
US Citizens or Green Card holders preferred

Requirements:

Monitor and manage the Progress/Eclipse environment (storage, backups, restores, etc.)
Patch the Eclipse system when applicable to keep the environment current
Troubleshoot issues within the Eclipse environment and provide L3 24x7 support for major incidents
Work with the Eclipse Job Management platform to ensure optimal system performance and manage data archiving to maintain database performance

Eclipse DBA
Location: Remote
Duration: 10 months
Rate –DOE

US Citizens and Green cards Preferred...

Required Skills:

Monitor and manage the progress environment (storage, backups, restores etc)
Patch the system when applicable – WESCO is behind (current version is unknown)
Troubleshoot issues within the Eclipse environment
Provide L3 support to WESCO 24x7 for major incidents
Work with the Eclipse Job management platform to ensure system performance is optimal
Working knowledge on how to archive data and manage older data within the database to maintain optimal performance
