Lead in planning, designing, and executing datacenter exit activities related to database servers
Perform database infrastructure and requirements analysis and sizing
Collaborate with application and operational DBA teams to analyze source data center DB ecosystems and design target datacenter database ecosystems, considering app server locations, lifecycle management factors (OS versions, database versions), and shared/dedicated machine requirements
Coordinate with infrastructure delivery teams to provide hardware for complex applications requiring physical/bare metal servers or Control Area Network environments

Lead Database Engineer (SQL Server) Location: 100% Remote Duration: 06 Months Rate: DOE Candidates to be in EST and CST
US Citizens and Green cards are Preferred.
Lead in Planning, designing and executing datacenter exit activities related to database servers
Database Infrastructure and database requirements analysis and sizing
Meet with application and operational dba teams to analyze source data center db ecosystems and design the target datacenter database ecosystems taking into account app server locations, lifecycle management factors (OS versions, database versions) and shared/dedicated machines requirements
For complex applications requiring physical/bare metal servers or Control area network environments, work with required Infrastructure delivery teams to deliver hardware to meet application database requirements
Consult with and advise senior management and application teams on high impact data or database management issues related to Datacenter exit activities
Experience:
• 5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
• 3+ years of architecting and designing SQL Server database solutions
• Strong analytical and project management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies and tools
• Strong technical and task/timeline-oriented skills necessary to ensure projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Experience with Jira and Agile delivery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working on multiple project requests in parallel and adjust strategies as project requirements evolve.
