Job description

Title: IT Business Analyst – Warehouse Management Systems
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Remote – Occasional travel to Client Warehouses during roll-outs)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Project start: 1^st Week of Jan
Experience Level: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Lead IT business analysis initiatives within the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) domain, focusing on supply chain and distribution operations.
Possess strong knowledge of WMS processes and operations, including end-to-end system integrations across CRM, Order Management, WMS, TMS, Procurement, and Financial Systems.
Analyze complex business problems, gather and interpret data, and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making.
Plan, execute, and oversee software implementation and rollout activities, ensuring smooth and successful deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Development, Configuration, QA, and Business Operations—to drive project success.
Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in solution design, configuration, and deployment activities to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, concise language.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT business analysis within WMS and related supply chain domains.
Strong understanding of system integrations and data flows across enterprise applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data and deliver actionable recommendations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Additional Information:

Travel Requirement: Minimum 50%. The consultant will need to travel to the Client warehouse during roll outs (Travel expenses reimbursed by the client).
