Job description


Title: Sr SDET (AI-Augmented) – Remote
Location: Blue Bell, PA
Duration: Contract (04/20/2026 – 10/20/2026)
Rate: DOE
Overview
  • Looking for 2 Senior SDETs with strong AI-driven testing experience
  • Must use GitHub Copilot & Claude Code daily
  • Fast-paced project with focus on automation from day one
Key Responsibilities
  • Build API tests using Karate framework
  • Develop UI automation using Playwright + Python
  • Create Python CLI tools for testing and data validation
  • Integrate and maintain tests in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
  • Debug issues and fix failing/flaky tests
  • Generate and manage test data (JSON, XML, DB scripts)
  • Write contract tests for microservices
  • Work with developers to improve test coverage
AI Expectations
  • Use AI to:
    • Generate test scripts and frameworks
    • Build Python tools quickly
    • Debug test failures using logs
  • Ability to create:
    • Karate test suites from OpenAPI specs
    • CLI tools in a single session using AI
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of SDET / Automation experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Karate (API testing)
    • Playwright + Python (UI testing)
    • Python scripting
    • Jenkins CI/CD
  • Knowledge of:
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Hands-on use of:
    • GitHub Copilot
    • Claude Code
  • Experience with Git (Bitbucket / PR workflow)
Nice to Have
  • Oracle / SQL
  • Spring Boot testing
  • Dynatrace or Kibana
  • Helm / GitOps
  • RabbitMQ
