Position Summary
The Financial Analyst II has reporting and analytical responsibilities that require a high-level understanding of trends in healthcare, payor reimbursements, and multi-site statistics including physician metrics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain detailed and complex financial models.
- Develop and maintain standardized financial reporting, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Conduct month-end and ad hoc variance analyses.
- Translate complex financial results into concise, actionable explanations for leadership.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports.
- Collaborate with practice administrators on understanding clinical trends and physician behavior.
- Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure data integrity, consistency in reporting methodologies, and alignment between financial systems and source data.
- Improve visibility into operational and financial performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- Five years of professional experience in Financial Modeling, Variance Analysis, Budget Preparation, Data Analysis, and/or Healthcare Finance.
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Proficient in Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI.
- Healthcare experience required
- Preferred experience in Prophix, NextGen, and ModMed
- Ability to work independently and produce clear financial analysis regarding complex issues
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, with preference for concentration in Health Care, Economics, Business, Accounting, or Finance.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
