About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Controller to take ownership of our financial operations. This role requires both execution and strategic foresight—managing cash flow, forecasting risks, overseeing payroll, and driving system improvements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with employees and contractors while leveraging financial tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), including chasing receivables and vendor payments.
Oversee and forecast cash flow to maintain liquidity and support growth.
Identify, forecast, and mitigate financial risks through proactive monitoring and controls.
Execute payroll using Gusto, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks.
Manage timesheet processes in Bullhorn, ensuring accuracy for employees and contractors.
Work directly with staff and contractors to resolve payroll, invoice, and receivable issues.
Implement and update financial systems, processes, and automation for efficiency.
Provide actionable insights to leadership through reporting and forecasting.
