Roles & Responsibilities

  • 4–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience with proven success in email and SMS marketing strategy, automation, segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
  • Strong technical proficiency across SFMC modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder) and experience integrating SFMC with CRM and eCommerce platforms.
  • Advanced analytics and KPI-driven mindset with ability to translate data into strategic action; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer) and familiarity with AMPscript/SQL/HTML/CSS are a plus.

  • Architect, implement, and manage advanced email and SMS automation, personalization, and segmentation strategies; lead end-to-end campaign process from ideation to deployment and performance analysis.
  • Create and manage complex segmentation logic and multi-channel customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder).
  • Design, execute, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests; oversee reporting and analytics with deep-dive insights; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communication across touchpoints.

 About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist with
4–5+ years of proven expertise in managing, optimizing, and innovating across email and SMS marketing channels. This role goes beyond execution, you will own the strategy, implementation, and optimization of campaigns end-to-end, while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and an internal subject matter expert.

You’ll work closely with creative, copy-writing, data, and eCommerce teams to design sophisticated customer journeys, leverage automation, and drive measurable growth. Your advanced knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s tools, integrations, and capabilities will be key to delivering high-performing campaigns that optimize the customer life-cycle and meet aggressive KPIs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategist and point of contact for assigned clients, providing expert recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Architect, implement, and manage advanced email and SMS automation, personalization, and segmentation strategies.
  • Lead the end-to-end campaign process from ideation and creative collaboration to technical build, QA, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Create and manage complex segmentation logic and multi-channel customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, etc.).
  • Design, execute, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize performance.
  • Oversee reporting and analytics with deep-dive insights that inform ongoing strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, innovation, and effective communication across all customer touchpoints.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, tools, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud with proven success driving measurable results.
  • Deep expertise in email and SMS marketing strategy, automation, segmentation, personalization, and deliverability best practices.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder, etc.).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with CRM, eCommerce platforms, and third-party tools.
  • Advanced understanding of marketing analytics and KPIs, with ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


Nice to Have

  • Experience working with D2C eCommerce brands or in a digital agency environment.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer).
  • Familiarity with AMPscript, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email customization.
