We are seeking a dedicated and organized Draftperson/Detailer to join our team at D2B. This remote role involves executing detailed drafting work, producing accurate technical drawings, and supporting the company’s pre-cut production process. This is not a leadership or customer-facing position. All communications will be directed through the Team Leader or Head Detailer, who will relay queries and instructions. The successful candidate will focus entirely on producing accurate shop drawings, following established detailing standards, preparing cutting lists and timber specifications, and supporting internal factory and production workflows. This role requires strong drafting capability and excellent attention to detail.

Position: Draftsperson/Detailer

Salary: PHP 60,000 - PHP 70,000/month (flexible for more experienced candidates)

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM; full-time (remote)

Holidays: Australian Holidays


Responsibilities:

    • Prepare accurate and production-ready construction, precut and assembly drawings based on architectural and engineering plans.
    • Follow internal detailing procedures, standards, and instructions from the Head Detailer.
    • Produce cutting lists, timber sizing details, and specifications required for factory production.
    • Maintain personal knowledge of drafting procedures and software tools.
    • Coordinate internally only—with the Team Leader and relevant departments (factory, production, estimating).
    • Ensure all drawings are completed with high accuracy, consistency, and in a timely manner.
    • Keep all documentation organized, updated, and compliant with company procedures.
    • Use technical judgement to identify drawing issues, flag inconsistencies, and propose solutions through the Team Leader.
    • Maintain proper use of ICT systems and CAD software relevant to the drafting function.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of drafting/detailing or similar; Degree or Certificate in Drafting/Architecture
  • Experience working in the Australian or New Zealand market is required
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
  • Experience with MiTek or Pryda (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings.
  • Strong capability in preparing shop drawings, cutting lists, and detailing documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - capable of communicating and reporting
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to fit well into a team environment and follow direction from the Team Leader
  • Reliability, integrity, and accountability in completing tasks
