Position: Workday Functional Analyst

Company Overview:

SBCS has partnered with a local healthcare system who is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workday Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Workday Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business processes and requirements, and provide expert guidance on how to best utilize Workday to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM, including core HR, compensation, benefits, time tracking, and talent management modules

- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, and develop solutions that align with their business goals

- Configure and test Workday system functionality to support business processes and requirements

- Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, and test scripts

- Lead system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

- Provide end-user training and support, and serve as a point of contact for Workday-related inquiries

- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and work with Workday support to escalate and resolve complex issues

- Stay current on Workday releases and updates, and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements

- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

- At least 3 years of experience working with Workday HCM, preferably in a functional/analytical role

- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices

- Experience with Workday configuration and business process design

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

- Workday HCM certification is a plus
