Job description
Razor is looking for a Data Engineer with experience in clinical data who designs and builds scalable data ingestion pipelines to normalize clinical data supporting quality reporting, risk adjustment, and regulatory programs.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field

Responsibilities
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Normalize and map clinical data to LOINC, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, CVX
• Build data models for quality and risk adjustment reporting
• Maintain data lineage, provenance, and traceability
• Implement automated validation and quality monitoring
• Work with actuarial, quality, compliance, and analytics teams
• Support CMS, HEDIS, and risk adjustment reporting
• Optimize pipeline performance in cloud/hybrid environments
• Document transformations, mappings, and governance controls
Qualifications
• 3+ years in data engineering or ETL development
• Strong SQL and Python
• Experience normalizing clinical data to standard vocabularies
• Experience with data warehouses/data marts
• Understanding of healthcare claims/clinical data
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Desired Skills
• FHIR/HL7 experience
• Familiarity with RAF/HCC, HEDIS, Stars
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt
• Knowledge of CMS/HIPAA requirements
• Experience with data governance frameworks
