Senior Commercial Leadership Role
Our client, a high-growth digital performance agency, is entering its next phase of expansion
across the UK and MENA markets. They are seeking a senior commercial leader to
transform strategic partnerships from delivery-led engagements into growth-led commercial
relationships.
This is not an Account Director position.
This is a strategic, revenue-owning leadership role.
The Opportunity
This position is designed for a commercially driven operator who can take ownership of
revenue expansion across a portfolio of major accounts, lead board-level growth
conversations, and position the agency as a strategic growth partner rather than a tactical
supplier.
You will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, executive influence, and scalable
growth modelling — with direct responsibility for revenue expansion, retention, and margin
strength.
Core Purpose
To drive sustainable revenue growth, elevate strategic authority, and protect commercial
performance across a high-value portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Own Strategic Growth Conversations
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews at executive and board level
• Reset growth strategy where performance plateaus
• Present investment modelling and scalable growth roadmaps
• Translate channel performance into commercial business impact
• Frame discussions around market share, CAC vs LTV, revenue forecasting, competitive
positioning, and growth scenarios
This role operates in the language of business outcomes — not tactical updates.
Drive Revenue Expansion
• Identify the next phase of growth across accounts
• Assess under-monetised channels and expansion opportunities
• Analyse competitor investment and market positioning
• Introduce structured expansion strategies across SEO, Paid Media, AI-driven content,
CRO, and analytics
• Own renewals and retainer growth
Create Constructive Commercial Tension
• Challenge underinvestment where ambition and spend are misaligned
• Reframe unrealistic performance expectations
• Push back on misaligned objectives
• Anchor discussions around ambition, scale, and commercial impact
Protect Margin & Commercial Discipline
• Prevent scope creep
• Convert tactical requests into structured strategic packages
• Ensure pricing reflects value delivered
• Maintain strong commercial discipline across accounts
Collaborate with Delivery Leadership
• Work closely with Account Directors and Performance Leads
• Delivery teams own execution and relationship management
• This role owns commercial direction, growth, and expansion
Experience Required
• 8+ years’ experience in senior agency commercial or strategic leadership
• Experience managing £1M+ portfolio revenue
• Demonstrated track record of expanding revenue within existing accounts
• Board-level presentation experience
• Strong understanding of SEO and Paid Media (hands-on execution not required)
• Experience across GCC / MENA markets highly desirable
