Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience as an Epic Dorothy Analyst with implementation of Epic Dorothy module (Ambulatory, Hospice, and Home Health) including design, build, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of EpicCare Ambulatory workflows and the ability to configure Dorothy integration, including SmartForms, SmartTexts, navigators, order sets, and documentation templates.
  • Experience mapping and optimizing clinical and operational workflows with regulatory requirements (CMS, Conditions of Participation, OASIS) and ensuring interoperability across modules.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment, with experience supporting go-live activities and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Plan, execute testing and go-live activities; develop test scripts; support go-live and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Maintain design documentation, participate in governance/change control, and support interfaces, reporting, and data validation.

CTG is seeking an experienced Epic Dorothy Analyst.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months

 

We are seeking an experienced Epic Dorothy Analyst to support a net-new Epic implementation of this module with a primary focus on EpicCare Ambulatory, Hospice, and Home Health workflows within the Epic Dorothy module.

 

This role will be instrumental in designing, building, testing, and optimizing workflows to support clinical and operational excellence across ambulatory, hospice, and home health services. The ideal candidate brings strong implementation experience, deep workflow knowledge, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Build

  • Lead design, build, and configuration of Epic Dorothy for home health and hospice services.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality.
  • Configure and optimize workflows within EpicCare Ambulatory to ensure seamless integration with Dorothy.
  • Develop SmartForms, SmartTexts, navigators, order sets, and documentation templates.
  • Build and maintain security classes and user roles as appropriate.

Workflow Design & Optimization

  • Map current and future-state workflows for home health and hospice operations.
  • Align build with regulatory requirements (CMS, Conditions of Participation, OASIS documentation).
  • Ensure interoperability between Ambulatory, Hospice, and Home Health workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Testing & Go-Live Support

  • Develop and execute integrated test scripts.
  • Support unit, system, and integrated testing cycles.
  • Participate in go-live planning and provide at-the-elbow support during activation.
  • Troubleshoot post-go-live issues and support stabilization efforts.

Integration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces and data exchange.
  • Support reporting needs for quality metrics, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Assist with data conversion and validation for net-new implementation.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain detailed design documentation and build records.
  • Participate in governance committees and change control processes.
  • Ensure adherence to implementation timelines and project milestones.

 

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $145,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
