The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Product Management to join our Vehicle Solutions team and help lead the evolution of our Fixed Ops "Service Suite" product portfolio.  As a Senior Director of Product Management,  you will be at the forefront of defining and delivering cutting-edge tools tailored for the automotive dealer's service department. This solution integrates all aspects of the service department to drive customer engagement and retention through comprehensive in-store and out-of-store experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to develop, enhance, and grow a product portfolio that helps dealerships achieve measurable success.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our automotive service solutions.
  • Leverage market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize features.

Performance Analysis and Optimization:

  • Analyze product performance metrics at scale, providing actionable insights to help customers optimize their service department.
  • Develop tools and dashboards that empower dealerships to measure effectiveness.
  • Leverage data to inform product enhancements and drive customer value.

Product Development:

  • Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product requirements and deliver seamless integration of in-store and out-of-store vehicle service capabilities.
  • Manage the backlog, requirements definition and prioritization and communicate to engineering through JIRA stories, wireframes and daily Standups. 

Customer-Centric Design:

  • Work with leadership and dealers to develop intuitive user experiences that simplify the process and drive consumer convenience and dealer profitability.

Performance & Growth:

  • Define KPIs and track product performance, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and adoption.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Act as the product champion, fostering alignment across teams and driving initiatives that enhance customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, including managing dealer and consumer facing automotive solutions.
  • Proven expertise in the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of dealer operations, consumer behavior and leading-edge user experiences.
  • Experience working in SaaS environments, ideally with solutions tailored to the automotive industry or similar B2B markets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate a vision and rally cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with managing the agile development process and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the auto dealer software industry.
  • Familiarity with a dealer's service drive, and the repair lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of trends in consumer behavior and technology within retail or automotive sectors.
