Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Mississippi (MS)
Minimum of 8 years of legal practice experience in Foreclosure and Bankruptcy
Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and uphold high professional and ethical standards
Requirements:
Represent creditors in foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, litigation, loss mitigation, and eviction matters in residential mortgage defaults, in accordance with client guidelines
Manage case assignments, workflow, and deadlines to ensure efficiency and high-quality legal services
Provide legal counsel and represent clients in complex matters as required, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and firm policies
Collaborate with firm leadership to establish goals, implement best practices, and serve as a liaison between the legal team and executive leadership for effective communication and operational alignment
Job description
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Real Estate Attorney (Remote) opportunity available with an established Law Firm to support their Foreclosure cases.
The eal Estate Attorney (Remote) is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include:
Professionally represent creditors in the residential mortgage default servicing industry in matters including, but not limited to, foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, litigation, loss mitigation, and eviction proceedings, in accordance with client guidelines.
Manage case assignments, workflow, and deadlines to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and high-quality legal services.
Provide legal counsel and represent clients in complex legal matters as required.
Ensure compliance with all ethical standards, legal regulations, and firm policies.
Collaborate with firm leadership to establish goals, implement best practices, and support long-term strategic initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between the legal team and executive leadership to facilitate effective communication and operational alignment.
Required qualifications for the position include:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in MS.
Minimum of 8 years of legal practice experience in Foreclosure, BK
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated success in managing caseloads and meeting deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
Business development experience and ability to contribute to firm growth.
Prior law firm management experience.
Salary Range: $100k - $150k annually
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
