We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a National Title Clearance Officer opportunity with a national settlement company. This role is responsible for managing a high volume of residential real estate files across multiple states.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, sales teams, attorneys, and underwriters.
This position is 100% remote.
Your specific duties will include:
Reviewing, analyzing, and clearing title for residential purchase and refinance transactions.
Examining abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to identify title insurance and legal issues related to commitments and title reports.
Collaborating with title agencies, clients, and attorneys to resolve title exceptions and prepare files for closing.
Preparing and/or reviewing Owner’s and Loan Title Policies, ensuring all appropriate exceptions are properly included.
Reviewing and interpreting title bills and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Managing surveys, survey readings, real estate taxes, recordings, and escrow-related matters.
Handling purchase and refinance transactions across OH, KY, TN, and IN.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
5+ years of experience in Title Curative/Title Clearance.
Proven experience working with residential real estate title files, including both purchases and refinances.
Demonstrated experience clearing title in OH, TN, KY, and IN.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-production environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
Experience using SoftPro Select.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $60,000 - $70,000 for salaried positions
