Job description and key responsibilities

The position requires effective data tech skills, time management, team spirit, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Develop processes for collecting, organizing, and storing data, thus creating essential data pipelines

• Ensure data quality and facilitate optimal access to data while complying with regulations, including GDPR

• Build and automate data pipelines, making raw data usable and optimizing the architecture for performance and efficiency on a cloud environment

• Designs, builds, and tests complex data products, selects technologies for robust and sustainable solutions, and implements data models across various domains.

• In the context of interdisciplinary collaboration, the Data Engineer facilitates data access for users such as data scientists and data analysts, while also contributing to the preparation of data for data science models.

Required skills & profile

• At least 3 years of experience working within Cloud Environment / Data Distribution environments

• High level of algebraic/ numeric understanding − SQL/ Phyton − Mastery of frameworks for distributed data processing - Databricks

• Base Database/ storage rules, eg. ACID principle, Data- modelling etc.

• Cloud tech affiliation, preferred Microsoft Azure − Existing knowledge and hands on experience in any standard Integration Tool, eg. Data Factory, Pentaho etc

• Appropriate stakeholder management skills

• Ability to present technical information in a common language − Team player in an international environment

• Taking responsibility regarding existing Dataflows and delivery of new ones

• Proficiency in English written & spoken
