Job description

SAP TM (Transportation Management) Architect - 100% Remote
Candidate Location – USA
12 Months plus contract
Start date - immediately
Rate - DOE

The SAP TM professional is responsible for the design, adaptation, and governance of technology architectures with a strong focus on SAP Transportation Management solutions. This role ensures effective software integration and functional testing within architectural designs to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
The position aligns SAP TM solutions with business objectives by providing technical leadership, documenting architectural decisions, and proactively mitigating project risks. The role plays a critical part in bridging business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring optimized performance, security, and compliance across the solution landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design, adapt, and maintain SAP TM technology architectures to support business needs
Ensure seamless integration of SAP TM with other SAP and non-SAP systems
Lead solution design, technical decision-making, and architectural documentation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP TM solutions
Oversee testing strategies to ensure functional and technical integrity
Identify and mitigate technical and project risks
Optimize system performance while ensuring security and regulatory compliance
Support project planning by estimating effort, timelines, and costs
Provide technical guidance to development and implementation teams

Required Skills & Experience
