The Department of Human Services at the University of the Cumberlands invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to support the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program. We seek a dynamic and committed educator who will contribute to a mission-driven program focused on preparing students for competent, ethical, and service-oriented professional practice in diverse settings.The University of the Cumberlands is a faith-based institution that welcomes students from all backgrounds. Primary Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate Social Work courses.
Collaborate with colleagues the Department and throughout the university.
Align course materials using departmental syllabus templates, required text(s), and other resources.
Provide regular and timely feedback on student work.
Maintain regular communication with students through virtual office hours and e-mail.
Maintain clear, consistent records in Blackboard Ultra and the university’s online record keeping platform
Participate in department-wide assessments.
Respond to student evaluations.
Follow university policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
At least two years of post-MSW professional social work experience.
Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.
Commitment to social work values.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Earned Doctorate in Social Work (DSW or PhD) or closely related field (ABD considered).
Experience teaching in online and hybrid learning environments.
