Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth initiatives to accelerate sales and develop new business in the EMEA Sports Facilities vertical, in collaboration with regional sales managers and key providers and end-user clients
  • Own sales forecast and growth targets for the vertical in EMEA, developed with regional sales teams and the Global Business Lead, Sports Facilities
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and closing; build a robust pipeline and establish long-term relationships with high revenue/growth customers
  • Analyze profitability and market data; optimize sales programs and processes through best practices, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders; monitor competitive activities

Job description

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for developing strategy, implementation and execution of initiatives accelerating sales growth and develop new businesses through collaboration with the regional sales managers and partnership with key certified providers and end user clients.  

  • Responsible for sales forecast and growth target for the vertical market in the EMEA region, developed in collaboration with the regional sales teams and the Global Business Lead, Sports Facilities. 

  • Responsible for following OKRs for the market vertical as it relates to the department and group level objectives. 

  • Drive sales process leadership from contact through strategy, proposal, presentation & successful conclusion for the market vertical.  

  • Build a robust opportunity pipeline and establish long-term business relationships and strategic relevance with selected high revenue/growth customers.  

  • Evaluate profitability and recommend potential alternative market approaches to improve profitability and distribution. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales programs and processes through best practice sharing, process improvement, and effective analytics. Ensure consistency in field sales process/ lead management, and other activities. 

  • Evaluate and monitor competitive activities and develop reliable market data. Recommend strategy defenses, offenses, and tactics for the company to stay ahead of competition and gain new market share. 

  • Partner with Application & Marketing on launch of new products, services, programs to satisfy market demand and take advantage of new market opportunities.  

  • Act as liaison to Marketing, Sales, Application & Finance departments towards ensuring proper build out of new business development initiatives.  

  • Conduct field visits and business reviews. Communicate with Management through visit reports, market analysis, and progress 

  • Attend tradeshows dedicated to the market vertical, represent the brand through thought leadership and industry associations events. 

Skills & Experience:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing/business preferred  

  • Proficient in English mandatory 

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with A/V equipment or High Technology Systems sales with proven successful track record  

  • Experience in business development and sales 

  • Strong relationships and network with key market stakeholders 

  • Experience with premium loudspeaker sales preferred 

  • Experience and/or network with Stadiums / Arenas / other sports facilities 

  • Project Management Leading Experience  

  • Experience with CRM and key opportunities management processes  

  • Candidate must be energetic, self-motivated and possess a desire to win  

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  

  • Outstanding organization and follow-up skills

Location and Travel: 

  • 50% world-wide travels as required per market development needs  

  • The role is based in the EMEA region and remote from home office
