Job description

Purpose of the Position

Provide expert oversight and assurance for Emerson control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and optimized operation of oil production facilities and reciprocating compressors in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Act as SME for Emerson DCS/PLC (DeltaV), SIS, and compressor control systems.
Ensure reliable control of oil production units and reciprocating compressors
Supervise and guide configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and upgrades during facility commissioning and startup.
Verify control logic, alarms, and interlocks meet design and safety intent
Oversee vendor activities SAT, and site acceptance.
Ensure compliance with functional safety, MOC, and cybersecurity requirements.

Job Requirements

10+ years of Control Systems experience with Emerson (DeltaV) in oil & gas.
Proven expertise in supervising oil production processes and reciprocating compressor controls, and programming.
Strong knowledge of SIS, alarm management, and functional safety standards (IEC 61511).
Proven Commissioning and Startup experience in remote location projects for major capital projects.
