Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in product analysis or related roles within technology environments, ideally with a focus on mortgage servicing and origination systems
  • Proven ability to define, document, and refine software product requirements using user stories, functional specifications, and process flows; strong cross-functional collaboration across legal, compliance, development, quality assurance, support, marketing, and sales
  • Hands-on experience with Black Knight MSP and ecosystem, Azure DevOps for work item tracking, Microsoft Visio for process modeling, and SQL for data querying and analysis; knowledge of mortgage industry practices is beneficial

Job description

Overview:

The Product Analyst supports the development lifecycle by translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, ensure timely delivery, and validate solutions. Experience in mortgage systems, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with tools like Black Knight MSP, Azure DevOps, and SQL are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to collect input from multiple channels (ex. user feedback, support tickets, operational data) and translate into clear and actionable requirements using user stories, features, epics, use cases, and/or functional specifications.
• Break down complex or high-level features and epics into smaller, detailed user stories that are easily understood and executable by development and quality assurance teams. Ensure stories are well-defined with acceptance criteria, testable and aligned with business goals.
• Acts as a liaison between product, development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and bug fixes. Track progress, clarify requirements and support troubleshooting through the development lifecycle.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions with internal users to understand pain points, enhancement requests, and evolving business needs. Document findings and incorporate them into product planning.
• Assist during development and testing phases by reviewing deliverables, validating functionality against requirements and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed.
• Partner with scrum master to define project scope, timelines, and resource needs. Help evaluate trade-offs and prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder input.
• A strong understanding of mortgage industry practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and ensure solutions remain competitive and compliant.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required.
• 5-10 years of experience in product analysis or related roles within technology environments, ideally with a focus on mortgage servicing and origination systems.
• Proven ability to define, document, and refine software product requirements using user stories, functional specifications, and process flows to guide development and testing teams

• Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, development, quality assurance, support, marketing, and sales.
• Exceptional ability to analyze complex problems, synthesize insights, and communicate findings clearly through verbal, written, and visual formats to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to build rapport and foster trust with colleagues, stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset and perseverance to navigate ambiguity and overcome challenges in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Black Knight MSP and the broader Black Knight ecosystem, Azure DevOps for work item tracking, Microsoft Visio for process modeling, and SQL for data querying and analysis.

 

 

Compensation Range: $74,600 - $139,800 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.

 

About Remote Employment 

We provide the necessary equipment; all you need is a quiet, private place in your home and a high-speed internet connection with a minimum network download speed of 25 megabits per second (MBPS) and a minimum network upload speed of 10 MBPS.

Work Conditions 

Able to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary.
