Web Designer (m/w/d)

About us:

We are fonio.ai – a start-up that has built a phone AI that sounds like a human and can take over calls end-to-end. Our AI is already used daily by more than 5,000 companies, and our growth is currently doubling every month.

Your role:

As a Web Designer at fonio.ai, you are responsible for continuously developing our website and taking it to the next level visually and functionally. Your main focus is implementing designs in Webflow. Additionally, you will occasionally support with Photoshop and other design work and collaborate closely with the marketing team and the founders to present the fonio.ai brand in a visually consistent and attractive way.

Why this role matters:

Our entire online presence lives in Webflow. This includes not only our website, but also our hiring pages, a large performance marketing budget, and the flows that generate and feed our sales leads. At the moment, this is handled by just one person, and we are constantly playing catch-up. We want to test many new landing pages quickly, and we’re hiring someone who can take full ownership of this and help us move faster.

What to expect:

• Web design & Webflow: Independent design, development, and maintenance of our website in Webflow.

• Design optimization: Continuous improvement of user experience and conversion optimization.

• Conversion-Tracking: Monitor which website contents drive conversions and how to technically optimize website performance.

• Visual support: Occasional support with graphic tasks and image editing in Photoshop.

• Teamwork: Close collaboration with marketing and founders to optimally grow our online presence.

What you bring:

• At least 2 years of experience as a web designer, ideally in a SaaS or start-up environment.

• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience in web design, ideally with Webflow.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Photoshop/Canva for graphic work.

• Strong understanding of user experience and conversion-oriented web design.

• Independent and proactive way of working.

• German is strongly preferred (you should be able to understand it reasonably well; English is fine).

What we offer:

• Salary: €40,000–60,000 gross/year (depending on experience).

• Location: Hybrid – Our office is located in Vienna’s 7th district.
