We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst with strong expertise in Sales Cloud to support a customized solution that enables deterministic data matching through Excel-based data ingestion, leveraging existing Salesforce search workflows. The role requires deep understanding of sales processes, data quality, and system behavior, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional designs for technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders for Sales Cloud–based solutions.
• Analyze and document requirements for Excel-based data ingestion, validation, and deterministic matching logic.
• Define functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with business outcomes.
• Document as-is and to-be sales processes, highlighting data touchpoints and decision logic.
Sales Cloud & Custom Solution Support
• Provide functional expertise across Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and related Sales Cloud features.
• Define business rules for deterministic data matching (exact match, rule-based match, prioritization logic).
• Work with technical teams to leverage existing Salesforce search workflows and avoid unnecessary customization.
• Validate that the solution meets business expectations for accuracy, usability, and performance.
Data Quality & Governance
• Define data quality standards, validation rules, and error-handling requirements for Excel uploads.
• Support duplicate prevention and data reconciliation strategies.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance and compliance standards.
Testing, Demos & Adoption
• Develop UAT scenarios and test cases covering ingestion, matching, exceptions, and edge cases.
• Validate test data and results to ensure deterministic and predictable outcomes.
• Support client demos using realistic, industry-aligned datasets.
• Capture feedback during UAT and demos and drive refinements.
Collaboration & Delivery Support
• Act as a bridge between business users, Salesforce developers, architects, and QA teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
• Ensure traceability from requirements through implementation and testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Salesforce & Functional Skills
• 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Sales Cloud
• Experience working on custom Salesforce solutions beyond standard configurations
• Solid understanding of Salesforce search, data models, and record relationships
Data & Analysis Skills
• Experience defining requirements for Excel/CSV-based data ingestion
• Strong understanding of data matching, reconciliation, and data quality concepts
• Ability to define deterministic, rule-based business logic
Soft Skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
• Ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce certifications (Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Admin)
• Experience with large-scale data migration or master data management initiatives
• Background in BFS, Insurance, or enterprise sales environments
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
