Job description

This is a remote position.

STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago and since then has been expanding worldwide.

 

We help our clients to grow and expand in new markets providing experts and cultural awareness.

We support our customers throughout the product information and content life cycle.  

 

We are now recruiting freelance talents to be part of our global dedicated linguistic Teams specialized in Life Sciences. 

Fields of Expertise - Main: Pharma, Personal care, Machinery. Secondary: Wine, Perfumery

Document typologies - Regulatory leaflets, Marketing, Communication, Technical manuals (automation and robotics for the consumer goods industry, high productivity machines and technologies)

Duration - This project is ongoing

Location - Remote 

Schedule – This work is based on project needs. Hours can therefore vary and flexibility with a changing schedule is very important. 

Employment Type - Freelance 

Main requirements:

  • Native in German with a degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience as a translator specialized in translation and proofreading of the required field (Main: Pharma, Personal care, Machinery. Secondary: Wine, Perfumery)
  • Up-to-date with language and terminology trends
  • Obsessed by the detail, quality-driven and has a passion for languages
  • Familiarity with the target language and culture to best convey message of the source text
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Experience of CAT tools – mainly SDL Studio 
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken source language to truly understand the meaning and translate as if it were originally written in target language
  • Understanding and attitude to work within a confidential environment
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Good availability and quick response times
