Specialist Business Analyst - Capital Market - Loans / Deposits / Cash Equities

Location: Pune / Mumbai / Hyderabad / Chennai / Bangalore

We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist Business Analyst with 8 to 10 years of experience in Functional business analysis or systems analysis, specifically in the Capital Market domain with a focus on Loans, Deposits, and Cash Equities products. As a Specialist Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding and analyzing the business requirements of our capital market clients and providing valuable insights to enhance their products and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders, business end-users, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Capital Market Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Capital Market domain, with a focus on products such as Loans, Deposits, and Cash Equities.
   

2. Business Requirements Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and business end-users, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
   

3. Product Understanding: Develop a thorough understanding of capital market products, including Loans, Deposits, and Cash Equities, and their related processes and functionalities.
   

4. Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights from capital market data, supporting data-driven decision-making.
   

5. Functional Specifications: Translate business needs into clear and comprehensive functional requirements for IT teams, ensuring alignment between business and technology.
   

6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including business end-users, product managers, and IT teams, to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
   

7. Process Improvement: Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.
   

8. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the Capital Market domain, sharing insights with the team and clients.
   

Qualifications:

1. 8 to 10 years of experience in Functional business analysis or systems analysis in the Capital Market industry.
   

2. Excellent understanding of products such as Loans, Deposits, Cash Equities, etc.
   

3. Good to have knowledge of business functions, process flows, and data flows from front to back for any banking product.
   

4. Good to have a strong understanding of functional architecture and data governance in the Banking and Financial Services domain.
   

5. Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
   

6. Consultation Skills: Proven ability to consult with business end-users to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards, recommending appropriate solutions.
   

7. Ability to Analyze Business Processes: Analyze business processes, gaps in capabilities, and identify appropriate data sources, interfaces, and process changes required to address capability gaps.
   

8. Interpersonal and Stakeholder Management: Proven interpersonal, stakeholder management, data analysis, influencing, planning, and prioritization skills.
   

9. Clear Communication: Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas and solutions effectively.
