Konkani Language Teacher - Remote Job

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Konkani Language Instructor to teach spoken and written Konkani to students across various age groups and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over the language, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and the ability to create an engaging and interactive virtual classroom environment.

As a Konkani Instructor, you will help students build confidence and fluency in the language through live sessions, personalized instruction, and creative lesson planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct well-structured and interactive Konkani language classes via Zoom online platforms.
  

• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate learners’ age groups, skill levels, and learning styles.
  

• Design engaging lesson plans, exercises, and assessments to track student progress.
  

• Integrate Konkani culture, traditions, and folklore into the curriculum to enhance learning.
  

• Provide regular, constructive feedback to help students improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  

Requirements

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Konkani, Language Studies, Literature, Education, or related fields.
  

• A B.Ed. or teaching certification is an added advantage.
  

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Konkani (online or offline).
  

• Strong proficiency in spoken and written Konkani.
  

• Good understanding of Konkani grammar, literature, and practical usage.
  

• Ability to communicate in English or Hindi for bilingual instruction.
  

• Creative, flexible, and passionate about language education.
  

Technical Requirements:

• Stable internet connection and a quiet, well-organized virtual teaching space.
