Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertise with GlobalProtect Linux agents (6.2.x/6.3.x) and Prisma Access integration
  • Hands-on troubleshooting across multiple Linux distros (Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Debian, Mint, Arch, NixOS) including systemd, DNS, NetworkManager, and firewall rules (iptables/nftables)
  • Experience with FIDO2 authentication and integrating Entra ID (Azure AD) and Silverfort for headless Linux authentication
  • Strong understanding of certificate-based authentication and networking troubleshooting (TLS certificate chains, DNS routing, SSL/GRE/IPSec VPN behaviours, tunnel interfaces like gp0 and tun0)

Requirements:

  • Troubleshoot GlobalProtect Linux agents installation, connectivity, routing, and tunnel issues on Linux
  • Understand Prisma Access agent behavior and Linux integration; ensure reliable deployments across supported distros
  • Diagnose and resolve networking issues including TLS certificates, DNS, NetworkManager, kernel/module dependencies, and firewall rules (iptables/nftables); manage VPN behaviors and tunnel interfaces (gp0, tun0)
  • Support headless and GUI Linux environments; assist with authentication integrations (FIDO2, Entra ID/Azure AD, Silverfort) and certificate-based authentication; document issues and contribute to runbooks

GlobalProtect & Prisma Access

  • Expertise with GlobalProtect Linux agents (6.2.x / 6.3.x)

  • Ability to troubleshoot agent installation, connectivity, routing, and tunnel issues on Linux

  • Understanding of Prisma Access agent behaviour and integration

Linux Endpoint Engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting across multiple Linux distros (Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Debian, Mint, Arch, NixOS)

  • Ability to diagnose:

    • systemd services

    • certificates & trust stores

    • DNS issues

    • NetworkManager

    • kernel/module dependencies

    • firewall rules (iptables / nftables)

  • Ability to support headless and GUI Linux environments

Authentication

  • Experience with FIDO2 authentication

  • Experience integrating Entra ID (Azure AD) with Linux endpoints

  • Experience with Silverfort for headless Linux authentication

  • Strong understanding of certificate-based authentication

Networking Troubleshooting

  • Strong debugging ability with:

    • TLS & certificate chains

    • DNS & routing

    • SSL/GRE/IPSec VPN behaviours on Linux

    • Tunnel interfaces (gp0, tun0, etc.)

    • GlobalProtect & system logs
