Roles & Responsibilities

Master's degree in applied geology, mining exploration or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in mining exploration (drilling, QA/QC, 3D modelling)
Proficiency in Surpac and Leapfrog; autonomy in building block models
Knowledge and practice of JORC / NI 43-101 standards

Requirements:

Collect and analyze geological data to formulate exploration hypotheses
Design and supervise drilling and sampling campaigns
Core management: reception, processing, description, archiving and digitization of drill cores
3D modelling and resource estimation: integrate data into Surpac/Leapfrog, build block models, calculate tonnages and grades, and classify resources (measured, indicated, inferred)

Job description

This is a remote position.

Notre client est une sociÃ©tÃ© internationale spÃ©cialisÃ©e dans l’extraction et l’exploration miniÃ¨re, prÃ©sente sur plusieurs continents, recherche pour son pÃ´le environnement un(e) GÃ©ologue Exploration expÃ©rimentÃ©(e). Le poste est basÃ© en Guyane franÃ§aise, en environnement isolÃ©, au sein d’une Ã©quipe expÃ©rimentÃ©e.

Missions principales :

Collecte et analyse des donnÃ©es : rassembler et interprÃ©ter les donnÃ©es gÃ©ologiques existantes pour poser les hypothÃ¨ses d’exploration.
Planification et suivi du forage : concevoir et superviser les campagnes de forage et d’Ã©chantillonnage.
Gestion des carottes : rÃ©ception, traitement, description, archivage et numÃ©risation des carottes de forage.
ContrÃ´le qualitÃ© (QA/QC) : mettre en Åuvre un protocole complet (blancs, doublons, standards de rÃ©fÃ©rence) et assurer la fiabilitÃ© des analyses en laboratoire.
ModÃ©lisation 3D et estimation des ressources : intÃ©grer les donnÃ©es dans Surpac / Leapfrog, rÃ©aliser des block models, calculer tonnages et teneurs et classer les ressources (mesurÃ©es, indiquÃ©es, infÃ©rÃ©es).
Reporting technique : rÃ©diger des rapports conformes aux normes JORC et/ou NI 43-101 et collaborer avec des experts pour validation.

Requirements

Bac+5 en gÃ©ologie appliquÃ©e, exploration miniÃ¨re ou Ã©quivalent.
ExpÃ©rience confirmÃ©e (â¥5 ans) en exploration miniÃ¨re (forage, QA/QC, modÃ©lisation 3D).
MaÃ®trise des logiciels Surpac et Leapfrog ; autonomie sur la rÃ©alisation de block models.
Connaissance et pratique des normes JORC / NI 43-101.
ExpÃ©rience en site isolÃ© et en exploration aurifÃ¨re obligatoire.
Rigueur scientifique, mÃ©thodologie, autonomie, sens des responsabilitÃ©s et aisance rÃ©dactionnelle.
Bon relationnel et esprit d’Ã©quipe.
