This is a remote position.
Overview :
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Tech Lead to architect and lead the development of cloud-native applications. The role demands a deep understanding of AWS integration services, Python-based serverless programming, and cloud automation. You will mentor the team, drive design decisions, and ensure best practices in scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead the end-to-end design and development of serverless applications using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and S3.
• Define architecture blueprints, technical standards, and re-usable frameworks.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• Implement asynchronous invocations and event-driven integrations for high-performance workflows.
• Manage cloud monitoring, logging, and auditing using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers for infrastructure automation and cost control.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and mentorship for junior developers.
• Ensure security compliance (IAM roles, encryption, network policies).
• Drive innovation in automation, reliability, and fault-tolerance.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
• 8–10 years of overall software development experience with at least 5+ years in AWS-based solutions.
• Strong command of Python (Async programming, AWS SDK/Boto3, RESTful APIs).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, S3, DynamoDB/RDS.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous invocation patterns and event-driven design.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Security practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer.
• Prior experience mentoring teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
