Roles & Responsibilities

  • Excellent public speaking and live-event hosting skills; comfortable on microphone and engaging audiences
  • Willingness to learn jewelry, gemstones, and the EFFY brand with proactive product knowledge development
  • Ability to perform under pressure, work well in teams, and remain coachable; hardworking and results-driven
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work onboard a cruise ship (and participate in related duties ashore as needed)

Requirements:

  • Represent the EFFY brand on cruise ships by hosting live events across all venues (in-store, theatre, pre-recorded segments, and TV) and speaking on microphone throughout
  • Drive traffic to the EFFY jewelry boutique onboard and to stores ashore as needed, while connecting with guests one-on-one to generate interest and sales
  • Learn and convey product knowledge about jewelry and gemstones, following scripts verbatim and applying brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver entertainment, events, and sales initiatives, maintaining a high-energy brand presence and embracing coaching

Job description

This is a remote position.

Brand ambassadors and port shopping experts to represent our brand onboard a cruise ship. 
You will be the name and face of the brand; where you will be based on a cruise ship.You will be responsible for driving traffic to the EFFY Jewelry boutique and others onboard as well as stores ashore (depending on the ship needs); You are required to self-apply and learn about jewelry, gemstones, and all that is the EFFY brand; you’re expected to host all EFFY live events onboard, in all venues around the ship, in-store, in the theatre, and pre-record & live, on TV; you will be on the microphone constantly, and need to learn scripts verbatim, You will be connecting with guests one-on-one; 
Earning potential is uncapped, provided you love working under pressure & working in teams. You must always be open to coaching, and willing to put in the hard work. What you put in is what you get out!
