Job description

This is a remote position.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of marketing, product development, and monetization through data-driven insights. This is a hands-on role where you’ll extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights, build intuitive dashboards, and support decision-making across the business.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, marketing, product, finance, and engineering, while working with modern analytics tools and platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong analytical background, particularly in B2C apps or mobile gaming, to make a direct impact on product performance and user growth.

This is a remote role with the expectation of regular presence at the Berlin office for key meetings and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets related to marketing, in-app events, product, and monetization metrics to identify actionable insights.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across marketing, product management, finance, and data engineering to align on objectives, share findings, and drive data-informed initiatives.

  • Build, model, and maintain reliable datasets that capture key business KPIs while enabling product analysts to make informed recommendations.

  • Design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to monitor business performance and communicate insights effectively.

  • Conduct advanced analyses such as A/B testing, cohort analysis, and segmentation to optimize user acquisition, product development, and monetization strategies.



Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the B2C app or mobile gaming industry.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (or similar), and data analysis techniques.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and a proven ability to create impactful dashboards and reports.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.

  • Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms (e.g., Adjust, Firebase) to support user acquisition and engagement measurement.

  • Passion for the mobile app and gaming industry, with an understanding of market trends and player behavior.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques for advanced insights.
  • Familiarity with user attribution methodologies across different platforms.
