Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Reason for opening the position:

    • The company's main focus now is development of Incubator, which is at the stage of building a business model and strategy.
    • At this stage, the "Active development of Incubator" stage has been reached. The Incubator's strategy can be formulated more effectively together with those who have worked in similar organizations. This will help create a more realistic strategy and start implementing it.


  • Expected responsibilities

    1. Strategy development:
      • Formulating the Incubator marketing and product strategy.
      • Defining target markets and customer segments.
      • Analyzing the competitive environment and product positioning.
    2. Product management:
      • Creating and developing the Incubator's product portfolio.
      • Defining product metrics and KPIs.
    3. Marketing activities:
      • Planning and implementing marketing campaigns.
      • Managing the marketing budget.
      • Developing content strategy and branding.
    4. Analytics and research:
      • Conducting market research and trend analysis.
      • Collecting and analyzing user behavior data.
      • Preparing regular reports on marketing effectiveness and product development.
    5. Working with startups:
      • Assessing the potential of startup projects for inclusion in the Incubator.
      • Mentoring and advising teams on marketing and product development.
      • Assisting in building go-to-market strategies for Incubator projects.
    6. Networking and partnerships:
      • Establishing connections with key market players and potential partners.
      • Participating in industry events and conferences.
      • Developing the ecosystem around the Incubator.
    7. Team management:
      • Building and developing the marketing and product management team.
      • Setting goals and objectives, and monitoring their achievement.
      • Creating effective work processes.
    8. Innovation and development:
      • Implementing innovative approaches in marketing and product management.
      • Tracking new technologies and their potential applications.
      • Participating in the development of the overall strategy for the Incubator.


Requirements

  • A relevant candidate who:

    • Has at least 5-7 years of experience in a leadership position in marketing and product management.
    • Has at least 3 years of experience working in IT incubators.
    • Has experience working with the Web3 market.
    • English language proficiency: preferably B2 level or higher.
    • Possibility to start part-time, with a subsequent transition to full-time.

  • Expected competencies and skills
    • Hard skills:
      1. Product development and management: Ability to develop and manage a product throughout its lifecycle - from idea to market launch and subsequent growth.
      2. Market and competitor analysis: Capability to conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and threats.
      3. Marketing strategy development: Skill in creating and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the company's goals and objectives.
      4. Digital marketing: Knowledge and experience with digital marketing tools such as SEO, PPC, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
      5. Analytics and metrics: Ability to work with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
      6. Branding and PR: Experience in brand development and management, conducting PR campaigns, and managing the company's reputation.
      7. Budgeting and financial analysis: Ability to create and manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and evaluate return on investment (ROI) for marketing and product initiatives.
      8. Data analysis and reporting: Skills in data analysis, preparing reports, and presentations for management and investors.
      9. Collaboration tools: Experience with collaboration tools like Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, Miro, and others that help teams work effectively together.
    • Soft skills:
      1. Critical thinking and evidence-based approach: Analyzing information, distinguishing facts from opinions, and evaluating situations to make informed decisions based on arguments. Ability to quickly analyze complex situations and find effective solutions.
      2. Systems thinking: Ability to work with analytical tools and interpret large volumes of data for informed decision-making.
      3. Leadership and motivation: Ability to gain authority, inspire and motivate the team, identify and develop talent within the team.
      4. Communication skills: Effective communication and listening skills to maintain open and productive relationships both within the team and with external stakeholders. Engaging with members and partners to achieve common goals.
      5. Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and requirements of the startup environment. Openness to new ideas and willingness to take risks for innovation. Ability to remain calm and decisive in uncertain conditions and under pressure.
