Roles & Responsibilities

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience with a strong technical background.
5+ years in QA automation or software development.
Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL; experience creating and maintaining end-to-end automated tests for mobile and web apps.
Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress) and frameworks (Postman, Appium, JUnit); familiarity with Git and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab).

Requirements:

Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile process, from end-to-end test strategy design to timely release execution.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and execute automated UI and functional tests on real devices and emulators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and test new features, ensuring optimal test coverage and high-quality outcomes.
Review and analyze test results, report and track issues, and improve automated CI workflows.

Job description

This is a remote position.

Our mission is to enable natural, conversational interactions between people and the products around them. We build cutting-edge Voice AI products that span two dozen languages, empowering our customers to extend their brand through conversational intelligence in cars, restaurant ordering, and more. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on enhancing our Engineering Team’s efforts in delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Lifecycle:
- Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within our Agile process, from end-to-end test strategy design to timely release execution.
Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Execute thorough automated tests, including UI and functional tests on real devices and emulators.
Collaboration:
- Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and test new features, focusing on optimal test coverage and high-quality outcomes.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Review and analyze test results.
- Report and track issues, enhancing automated CI flows.
Industry Trends and Team Growth:
- Stay current with industry trends in test automation.
- Contribute to team growth through mentoring.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience with a strong technical background.
Experience: 5+ years in QA automation or software development.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining end-to-end functional tests, including mobile and web application testing.
- Familiarity with Git and CI tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Cypress, and frameworks like Postman, Appium, and JUnit.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to excel in a team environment.
Methodologies: Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC principles, and micro services architecture.
Code Quality: Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

Preferred Experience:

Startup experience or work in AI, ML, voice, or search technology domains.
