Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute a strategic business development plan for AI products within the localization and translation sector, identifying and engaging potential clients and markets and nurturing long-term relationships to fuel revenue growth.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements, providing strategic insights to refine AI offerings and market strategy.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing deals and build/manage strategic partnerships with key industry players and stakeholders to ensure a healthy pipeline.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align business development efforts with company goals and provide leadership and mentorship to the BD team, promoting high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Business Development:

    • Craft and execute a strategic business development plan for AI products within the localization and translation sector.
    • Identify and engage potential clients and markets, nurturing long-term relationships to fuel revenue growth.
  2. Market Analysis and Insights:

    • Conduct thorough market research to grasp industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.
    • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to refine our AI product offerings and market strategy.
  3. Sales and Partnerships:

    • Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
    • Build and manage strategic partnerships with key industry players and stakeholders.
  4. Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
    • Offer leadership and mentorship to the business development team, promoting a culture of high performance.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Monitor and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and sales targets.
    • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Over 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, particularly focusing on AI and technology.
    • Proven success in the localization and translation industry.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications in localization and translation.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Attributes:
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
    • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
