Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative with proven experience in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will own the early stages of the sales funnel, identifying and qualifying high-potential leads across global travel businesses. You will work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive pipeline growth for our clients by engaging key decision-makers in the travel sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new leads within the travel industry via cold calls, emails, social selling, and other outbound channels.
  • Conduct research on target companies and personas to build tailored outreach campaigns.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects through discovery calls and email engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule product demos and hand off qualified opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs (e.g., number of qualified meetings, pipeline value).
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on messaging effectiveness and market trends in the travel industry.




Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of Sales Development or Business Development experience, with at least 1 year focused on the travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry landscape, key players, and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding lead-gen and SDR quotas.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or SalesLoft.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment, with flexibility to adjust to client time zones if required.
