Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Conveyancer with deep expertise in UK property law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience handling residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion. Candidates must be well-versed in UK-specific procedures and compliance, with the ability to manage high volumes independently and communicate effectively with clients, agents, and third parties. Experience working in a remote or outsourced environment will be considered a strong advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

  • Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors throughout the conveyancing process.

  • Conduct title checks, review and prepare contracts, and investigate legal ownership and leasehold/freehold terms.

  • Draft and review key legal documents including transfers, completion statements, and other property-related contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with UK conveyancing regulations including AML and client due diligence.

  • Mitigate risk by identifying potential legal issues early and taking appropriate action.

  • Utilize case management systems effectively and maintain detailed, organized records.



Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a conveyancing paralegal in a UK legal setting.

  • Deep understanding of the UK property transaction process, Land Registry requirements, and SDLT filing.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume caseload with independence and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.

  • Experience using case management software (e.g., LEAP, Proclaim, or similar).

  • Prior experience working remotely or in a legal process outsourcing (LPO) setting is preferred.
