Azure Administrator – SAP Business One

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator with strong expertise in supporting and maintaining SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role involves part-time, remote support to ensure smooth operation, high availability, and security of SAP B1 workloads running on the Azure cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure (VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security).
  

• Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  

• Manage Azure resources efficiently, ensuring cost optimization and scalability.
  

• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
  

• Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  

• Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices.
  

• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools where possible.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred).
  

• Practical experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial).
  

• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup).
  

• Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration.
  

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability.
  

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management.
  

• Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications.
  

• Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure.
