Job description

LOCATION: Las Vegas, NV - Candidates MUST be local to the Las Vegas Market

Job Type: Full-Time/Entry Level

KMM is seeking entry-level broadband installers and cabling technicians to perform installation of rooftop antennas, ethernet cabling, and telecommunications equipment in Multi-dwelling Units (MDU).

Overview: 

Perform installations, connections USBc and ethernet cables in apartment buildings, offices, and commercial locations. Equipment may be installed in the interior or on the exterior of the building, and may be installed in telecom closets, on the roof of the building, or other designated areas as designated by the senior technician.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with mounting telecommunications equipment in designated locations
  • Connect ethernet cable and run cabling to the roof via coax riser
  • Connect coax cable to coax outputs
  • Connect coax cable to splitter for testing
  • Run coax cable from  the telecom closet to the riser to be distributed throughout the building
  • Run power cable to the site of the RT radio/antenna installation
  • Install new coax cable down existing coax riser or building exterior with splitters installed at every floor of the MDU

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 18 Years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Previous wireless telecommunications experience preferred
  • Experience with telecommunications cable installation preferred
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable form of transportation
  • Basic math skills
  • Comfortable working on rooftops and in confined spaces
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
