Qualifications

Hands-on experience with BigQuery and Data Fusion (or equivalents) in GCP, plus SQL Server; scripting in Java or Python.
Proven ability to design and develop data ETL pipelines meeting functional and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, reliability, security).
Java coding experience for data extraction/cleanup and familiarity with XML, JSON, and other streaming artifacts in Java/Python environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to multi-task across data processing streams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize data ETL pipelines in GCP using BigQuery and Data Fusion, ensuring performance, scalability, availability, reliability, and security.
Implement data extraction and cleanup tasks in Java; work with XML/JSON and other streaming data artifacts in Java/Python environments.
Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams; communicate progress and requirements clearly; manage multiple data processing streams concurrently.

Job description

Have experience with Data Fusion or Equivalent, Big Query or Equivalent, SQL server, scripting in Java/Python that works well in GCP products, and their respective practices. Python experience is a plus.

Develop data ETL pipelines that meets both the functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, availability, reliability and security.

Have experience with writing code in Java, in order to work on data extracts that require cleanup.

Have a working knowledge of XML, JSON and other forms of data streaming artifacts and related technologies in a Java/Python environment.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to multi task on various streams of the entire data process.
