With 50,000 sq. ft. of DTLA studios and a global influencer network, we’re ready to 10x our output in 2025—and we need a Casting Associate who can find the fresh faces and authentic voices that power our high-performance content.

Faces, authenticity, and performance are your playground. As a Casting Associate, you are the gatekeeper of our creative output. You’ll be responsible for hunting down the perfect talent—from polished actors and models to authentic UGC creators and real-world testimonials—that align with our clients' brands.

In the world of performance marketing, the right face can double the results of an ad. Your ability to scout, vet, and book top-tier talent at speed will directly impact the success of our campaigns and the growth of our agency. What You’ll Do

  1. Scout & Source Talent

    • Relentlessly hunt for new talent across social media (Instagram, TikTok), casting platforms, and agencies.

    • Identify diverse actors, models, and UGC creators who fit the specific demographic and aesthetic needs of top DTC brands.

    • Build and maintain a robust internal database of go-to talent for quick activation.

  2. Manage Outreach & Vetting

    • Handle high-volume outreach to potential talent, checking availability, rates, and interest.

    • Conduct initial screening calls and review self-tapes to ensure talent meets High Scale’s quality and energy standards.

    • Negotiate rates and usage terms within project budgets.

  3. Coordinate Casting Logistics

    • Organize casting calls (virtual and in-person) and manage self-tape submissions for Producer review.

    • Create polished "casting decks" and presentation materials for internal teams and clients to review.

    • Ensure all talent paperwork, releases, and contracts are signed and organized before shoots begin.

  4. Stay Ahead of Trends

    • Keep a pulse on social media trends to understand what "look" and "vibe" is currently performing well in ads.

    • Proactively scout for emerging talent pools and new platforms to find untapped creators.

Who You Are

  1. A Talent Magnet

    • 1–3 years of experience in casting, talent management, or production (agency or freelance).

    • You have a sharp eye for charisma and authenticity—you know who has "it" the moment you see them.

  2. Social Media Native

    • You live on TikTok and Instagram. You know how to search hashtags, find creators, and slide into DMs professionally to get results.

    • You understand the difference between a "TV commercial actor" and a "TikTok creator."

  3. Excellent Communicator

    • Fluency in English is required (C1/C2 level). You will be communicating constantly with US-based producers and talent.

    • You are clear, persuasive, and professional in negotiations and coordination.

  4. Organized & Fast-Paced

    • You can juggle multiple casting briefs, hundreds of emails, and tight deadlines without losing your cool.

    • You are meticulous with details (rates, schedules, contact info).

  5. Resourceful & Persistent

    • You don’t take "no" for an answer easily. If a role is hard to cast, you find creative ways to locate the right person.
