  • Systems implementation and development experience spanning a broad range of architectures: UI, middleware, event-based systems, messaging frameworks, caching, APIs, microservices, databases, enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems (Azure/AWS), containerization
  • Deep knowledge of several programming languages: PostgreSQL, SQL MDS, NodeJS, AngularJS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Sr. Systems/Functional Analyst to support and deliver strategic initiatives supporting the Global IT Quality team. In this role, you will be joining an existing Agile team tasked with maturing & advancing a recently implemented AWS native solution managing the supply chain release process
Responsibilities include:
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner to define features and acceptance criteria, work with the development team to iteratively groom user stories and build test cases.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing systems for performance.
  • Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions.
  • Create plans for change based on analyzed requirements.
  • Facilitate configuration management.
  • Document changes being made and relevant teaching manuals.
  • Collaborate with other team members to efficiently implement changes.
  • Simulate and test suggestions made for performance
  • Responsible for the creation/maintenance of reports and dashboards .
  • Creating/maintaining system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications and validation deliverables.
  • Must be able to garner respect from the team and be willing to provide hands-on support to deliver results.
  • Help teams assess and address their 'Agile Maturity' and higher levels of maturity.
  • Helps with solution design of business requirements and works with software engineers, test engineers and architects to prioritize business requirements.
  • Supports formal validation with scrum-team and business testers.
  • Provides support on issues during Sprint and validation cycles.
  • Provides support to scrum-master on Sprint Planning.
  • For established solutions, ensures continued product buildout as well as ensures timely resolution of bugs and issues elevated by the business operations teams.
  • Attends all scrum events as required or needed.
What we're looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years as a developer and/or systems analyst with the ability to manage dynamic/tight timelines and wield diplomacy and influence among various personality types.
  • Experience being an analyst on an Agile software development team: soliciting business requirements, story grooming, writing acceptance criteria.
  • Systems implementation and development experience spanning a broad range of architectures: UI, middleware, event-based systems, messaging frameworks, caching, API's, microservices, databases, enterprise cloud enabled distributed systems (Azure/AWS), containerization.
  • Deep knowledge of several programing languages: PostgreSQL, SQL MDS, NodeJS, AngularJS
  • Exposure to Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) frameworks such as AWS Lambda, GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, etc.
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment.
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks that support all types of testing (unit, component, integration, system etc.).
  • Document design options and decisions and present these in an organized manner to technical as well as non-technical audiences.
  • Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building, crafting, and reviewing code.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, Agile/DevOps, and partnership with the business.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Systems, or equivalent technical experiences.
  • Demonstrating skill in systems analysis, SDLC, and change management, and requirements gathering.
  • Can clearly document design options / decisions, and present these in an organized manner to technical as well as non-technical audiences.
  • Working in a Medical Device or Regulated Industry.
