Roles & Responsibilities

8+ years of experience in network switching and routing (Cisco and Dell switches) and Cisco ASA firewalls
Hands-on experience with Dell/Cisco switches and expertise in firewall solutions (ZScaler, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)
Experience with Azure cloud, and cloud monitoring tools like Datadog
Strong knowledge of automation, DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and system monitoring; ability to perform data flow diagrams and gap analyses to improve security

Requirements:

Part of Global Platform Operations responsible for security, delivery, and availability of the platform
Participate in on-call rotation to support maintenance, scheduled work, support, and release/deployment requirements
Focus on delivery and service improvement of a leading software platform, with experience in SaaS environments
Collaborate on network infrastructure improvements and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance security and performance

JOB DESCRIPTION

Platform Engineer -- Network, Technology Service Management
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Global Platform Operations team. As Platform Engineer you will be part of the core Platform Operations function that is responsible for security, delivery, and availability of our platform. You will also be expected to participate in the on-call rotation which supports our maintenance, scheduled work, support and release/deployment requirements.

This role is focused on supporting the delivery and service improvement of a leading software platform; prior experience working for a SaaS provider is desirable.

Mandatory skills:

Have an overall experience of around 8+ years in network Switching & Routing with Cisco and Dell switches and Cisco ASA firewalls.
Network expertise - hands-on with Dell, Cisco switches
Have expertise in network infrastructure, able to produce data flow diagrams, perform a gap analysis and suggest appropriate holistic improvements to enhance security.
Have experience working with three-tier web applications, running in public and/or private cloud.
Knowledge on ZScaler, Palo Alto, Checkpoint firewall
Have experience with Azure.
Have experience with Cloud monitoring tools like Datadog
Possess strong knowledge of current technologies, with proficiency in the areas of automation, DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and system monitoring.
