Roles & Responsibilities

Experience with JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+
Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
Familiarity with native build tools (XCode, Android Studio, Gradle) and mobile automated build systems (MacStadium or Bitrise)
Experience with modern build strategies, CI/CD, unit testing, test-driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests; continuous delivery preferred

Requirements:

Develop mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android, ensuring clean, well-documented code and secure practices
Collaborate with design, product and backend teams in a Scrum/agile environment to deliver features in sprints
Implement and advocate for modern build strategies, continuous integration/delivery, unit testing, TDD, static analysis and automated integration tests
Integrate with push notifications, APIs, cloud messaging, geofencing/proximity solutions, and IoT connections (BLE) as needed

Job description

Mobile Developer (React Native, iOS)
Location Chicago, IL (100% REMOTE)
Duration: 12 Months

Experience with JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
Experience with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, Gradle
Experience with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
Experience with Geofencing and proximity solutions
Experience with IoT connections like BLE devices
Experience with Mobile Automated build systems like MacStadium or Bitrise
Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
Experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
Strong notions of security best practices
Experience with working on projects in highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary development teams
Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, test driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.
Experience delivering software in a Scrum development process
