Coordinate with cross-functional support teams to rapidly resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis and preventative measures
Identify and address vulnerabilities across the technology environment and work with vendors on hardware and software fixes
Collaborate with application development and support teams to assist in delivery of solutions

Mainframe Systems Engineer - 100% Remote
Location: Owings Mills MD -
Duration: 6 months
Rate: DOE

Job Description

The Systems Programmer will be responsible to install, maintain, and upgrade IBM and 3rd Party products in a mainframe z/OS environment using SMP/E and zOSMF.
Coordinates across support teams to quickly resolve Incidents and disruptions to technology services, performs root cause analysis, and takes preventative measures.
Proactively idifies and addresses vulnerabilities across the technology environment Work with vendors on hardware and software fixes
Works with application development and support teams to assist in delivery of solutions.
