Experience as UniVerse DBA or strong UniVerse database administration background
Proficiency with the Eclipse environment and related troubleshooting
Experience providing L3 support and on-call 24x7 incident response
Knowledge of data archiving and managing older data to maintain database performance

Requirements:

Monitor and manage the progress environment (storage, backups, restores, etc.)
Patch the system when applicable
Troubleshoot issues within the Eclipse environment
Provide L3 support to the client 24x7 for major incidents

Location – Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description

Monitor and manage the progress environment (storage, backups, restores etc)
Patch the system when applicable.
Troubleshoot issues within the Eclipse environment.
Provide L3 support to Client 24x7 for major incidents.
Work with the Eclipse Job management platform to ensure system performance is optimal.
Working knowledge on how to archive data and manage older data within the database to maintain optimal performance.
